Landlords are required to arrange an annual gas safety check and inspection of gas appliances at their property every 12 months. Our gas safe registered engineers can arrange an appointment at your convenience to attend and check pipework, appliances and flues are safe for use and meet the minimum standards set out by UK gas safety regulations.

Upon completion of the check a certificate will be issued which is then valid for 12 months. If there is any concern then the engineer will detail these on the certificate. In the event of an appliance being found unsafe, the engineer can provide details of what is required in order to bring the appliance upto the correct standard.

Landlords must retain a copy on file for at least two years following expiration of the certificate and also provide all tenants with a copy.

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) tells you how energy efficient a home is on a scale of A-G which in turns provides potential tenants with a insight into the potential fuel bills of a property. An accredited energy assessor will visit your property and complete an energy assessment before issuing a certificate which will be registered on the national database and is valid for 10 years.
